How Trovemark Came to Be
Trovemark began when a small group of facilitators in Phuket noticed a recurring pattern: families with good intentions would put off conversations about documents and wishes, often for years. Not out of indifference, but because no one had offered them a simple, non-pressured way to begin.
In 2019, the first Trovemark session was held in a modest room on Thepkrasattri Road with eleven participants. The goal was modest too — to help people understand what paperwork they already held and where it was kept. The response was warm and immediate. People described feeling a quiet sense of relief after the session, not because any decisions had been made, but because the subject had finally been named and organised.
Since then, Trovemark has grown into a small, purposeful organisation offering three distinct programmes. None of them cross into legal or financial territory. All of them are grounded in one idea: that most families already have what they need — they just need a structured moment to take stock.
We are based in Ratsada, Phuket, and welcome families from across Thailand, as well as expatriates and long-term residents of the region who find themselves thinking about these questions in a country away from extended family networks.
REGION III — PEOPLE
The Trovemark Team
A small team of experienced facilitators and organisers, each with a background in education and family-focused communication.
Siriporn Kaewmala
Lead Facilitator
Siriporn has spent fifteen years working in community education across southern Thailand, with a particular focus on inter-generational dialogue and household organisation practices.
David Lorne
Workshop Coordinator
David coordinates session scheduling and participant materials. Originally from Scotland, he has lived in Phuket for over a decade and works closely with expatriate communities on document organisation.
Nattaya Wongsiri
Resources & Content
Nattaya develops the written materials, templates, and session guides used across all Trovemark programmes. Her background is in instructional design and adult learning.

How We Work
Every Trovemark session is built around a few straightforward commitments that guide how we design and deliver our programmes.
No Advice, Ever
Trovemark does not provide legal, financial, or professional advice of any kind. All content is educational, offered for general awareness only.
Participant Privacy
Participants are never asked to share personal documents or private financial details during sessions. What you choose to work on privately remains entirely your own.
Small, Focused Groups
Sessions are kept small by design — never more than 14 participants — so that the pace suits everyone and no individual feels rushed or overlooked.
Structured, Practical Materials
All worksheets and templates are reviewed regularly and tested with participants before being added to the programme. Clarity and usability guide every revision.
Calm, Low-Pressure Environment
No sales, no upsells, no urgency tactics. Participants are welcome to attend, gather information, and decide in their own time what steps, if any, they want to take.
Sensitivity to Local Context
Our facilitators understand the specific context of families in Thailand, including those navigating differences between Thai and overseas legal frameworks at a general level.
REGION V — VALUES & APPROACH
What Drives Our Work
Document organisation and family conversation are not topics that get much structured attention in everyday life. They tend to surface only when something has already gone wrong — when a family is searching through unfamiliar papers under difficult circumstances, or when a conversation that was never held leaves people without guidance.
Trovemark's programmes address this gap at a general, educational level. The Mapping Your Records workshop gives families a clear framework for identifying which documents they hold and where those documents are stored. It is practical, straightforward work that takes a half-day and leaves participants with a filled-in worksheet they can return to and update over time.
The Family Intentions Workshop approaches the relational side of the same question: how do families talk, gently and clearly, about wishes, values, and practical preferences? The session uses structured conversation prompts and guided discussion — not scripted answers. Every family leaves the room with a different set of notes, because every family has a different set of circumstances.
Atlas Membership exists for people who want to continue learning. The subject of personal records and family planning is not one you exhaust in a single afternoon. The membership provides ongoing resources — articles, templates, community sessions — for those who find value in returning to the topic over the course of a year.
Across all three programmes, our position is the same: we offer maps and compasses, not destinations. The direction is entirely yours.
